On October 25th, 2025, we celebrated two decades of ministry at our 19th Annual Prayer Breakfast. The room was filled with joy and unity as volunteers, attorneys, law students, pastors, donors, and supporters gathered to worship and hear how God continues to move through our clinics and programs.
Judge Andrew J. Guilford delivered a deeply moving message from Micah 6:8, challenging all of us to embrace God’s heart for justice and to serve our neighbors with humility and compassion.

2025 Keynote Speaker:
The Honorable Andrew J. Guilford, US District Judge, Retired

The Honorable Andrew J. Guilford (Ret.) served as a United States District Judge for the Central District of California from 2006 until his retirement, occasionally sitting by designation on the Ninth and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. During his tenure, he was recognized for his fairness, professionalism, and service to the judiciary, including appointment by the Chief Justice to the U.S. Judicial Council’s Committee on Codes of Conduct. Before joining the bench, Judge Guilford practiced law for more than 30 years with Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, specializing in complex business and intellectual property matters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, was repeatedly named among California’s Top 100 Attorneys by the Daily Journal, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Franklin G. West Award, and the J. Reuben Clark Award. A graduate of UCLA School of Law, Judge Guilford remains deeply committed to service. He has led organizations such as the State Bar of California and the Public Law Center, advancing access to justice and pro bono work. Today, he serves with Judicate West as a mediator, arbitrator, and private judge, continuing his dedication to fairness, integrity, and community service. |
