CLA-LA exists only through the passion and dedication of our supporters. Whether through providing financial support, volunteering, hosting clinics, offering prayer and spiritual counsel, or helping increase community awareness of our services, they are an essential part of CLA-LA. We would love for you to join them in bringing justice and the love of Christ to communities throughout Los Angeles County!
If you would like to become part of our volunteer family, please fill out the contact form on our volunteer page. A staff member will then contact you regarding our volunteer application & signup process.

Working with [CLA-LA] has really changed the way I view the law and the way I view the work we can do for Christ. I feel like I serve Christ at each clinic, and that is something I would not trade for anything in the world. CLA-LA has not only loosed the bonds of legal burdens for so many, but you all have loosed the chains of oppression the world has thrown on them simply by being there as Christ would have been. Melissa, Attorney Volunteer
Volunteering at CLA enables me to help meet urgent legal needs for some of Los Angeles' neediest and most deserving citizens in a safe, affirming environment, where faith, hope and love are freely offered, along with a good meal. CLA provides an environment where lawyers can serve, where the needy can be served, and where God's love can change lives. Garrett, Attorney Volunteer
What makes serving with CLA so special is twofold. First, CLA lifts up and supports other Christians who are experiencing legal problems. CLA not only focuses on the legal issues at hand, but most importantly, also encourages our brothers and sisters spiritually. Second, CLA is an opportunity for the community to hear about Jesus. A person may come in expecting a free legal clinic, but may also learn the riches of spiritual salvation through Jesus. Jonathan, Law Student Volunteer
But all things considered, my greatest reward remains the privilege of working alongside my CLA-LA family, bringing the Kingdom of Heaven one heart closer to the City of Los Angeles with each client. David, Law Student Volunteer (on winning the 2012 Volunteer of the Year Award)
I never thought that my ability to set up laptops and configure printers would be such a powerful way to help do justice for many people. I'm glad to serve alongside so many talented and friendly people. Michael, IT Volunteer
No other organization in our city is doing the critical work of Christian Legal Aid! As a pastor it is my privilege to join with CLA in its mission to provide free legal and spiritual counsel to the most vulnerable in our city. Pastor Steve, Spiritual Care Volunteer
